Saint Lucia Launches Saint Lucia Agent Months:
Travel Agents Can Experience Destination Firsthand

SAINT LUCIA (July 6, 2015) The Saint Lucia Tourist Board has launched its annual travel agent incentive program, Saint Lucia Agent Months (SLAM). Designed to showcase Saint Lucia to visiting travel agents, SLAM runs through November 30, 2015, and includes booking incentives and special rates on accommodations.

During a visit to Saint Lucia, travel agents will experience the island’s tastes, sights and sounds through diverse tours, land and sea excursions, and authentic cuisine. They will also be able to explore the island’s award-winning hotels and resorts through planned site inspections.

“Saint Lucia Agent Months are so popular with travel agents because they can plan a visit based on their schedule, see what’s new or new to them, and enjoy the island as their clients would,” said Tracey Warner Arnold, deputy director of Tourism for the Saint Lucia Tourist Board. “Travel agents tell us that these visits help them create memorable vacations, honeymoons and even wedding experiences for their clients.”

American Airlines will offer discounted Carib Fam Star airfare for travel agents flying from September 7 through November 19, 2015. Agents must have a valid IATAN card in order to use this offer; blackout dates will apply. Air Canada Vacations will provide (CA) $450 economy class flights from Toronto through November 30, 2015. Discount fares are applicable for the travel agent and one travel companion. Agents can save 70 percent off standard rates via WestJet Vacations when they book and travel by December 16, 2015; blackout dates will apply.

Participating SLAM hotels include: Alize Inn, Anse Chastanet, Bay Gardens Group, BLU St. Lucia, The BodyHoliday, Calabash Cove Resort & Spa, Cap Maison, Capella Marigot Bay, Cleopatra Villas, Coco Palm, Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Spa, East Winds Inn, Fond Doux Holiday Plantation, Harmony Suites, Hotel Chocolat, Jade Mountain, La Haut Resort, Marigot Beach Club & Dive Resort, Rendezvous, Royal by Rex, St. James’s Club Morgan Bay, Sugar Beach – A Viceroy Resort, The Landings Resort, and Windjammer Landing.
