Zamacà Bed & Breakfast is located in the community of ESCAP, Micoud in the South-East of the island, the Atlantic side. Overlooking the luscious Fond River Valley, and the majestic Fond Bay Beach, Zamacà has quickly advanced to the visitors’ favored top positions in the “Hidden Gems” category of boutique small hotels. Proudly distinguishing itself from the “run of the mill” hotels of the North-West of the island, Zamacà is a “Mom and Pop” family business and treats their guests as… family.
Opened on July 2006, Zamacà Bed & Breakfast property is a tranquil destination in a truly tropical setting situated on the spectacular Southeast coast of St. Lucia, about 15 minutes from the Hewanorra international airport, near the quaint fishing village of Micoud. The land is distinctive and dramatic, with a dominant headland jutting out into the Atlantic on the east, and to the north, a magnificent crescent and a beach, a wonderful quiet intimate strand of sand, adorned by the estuary of the Fond River. A hiker’s paradise, the Peninsula is a throve for adventurers and photographers, with its lush vegetation, the colors of the seas, and the sound and sight of the sea!
Zamacà Bed & Breakfast is about one hour from the Capital Castries and the G.F. L. Charles Airport at Vigie.
Nearby Attractions and Beaches
Near local trails guided by National Trust experts provide access to the St. Lucia parrot natural habitat, with plenty of other birdwatching – if you don’t mind waking up early.
Zamacà has also the advantage of being close to what is arguably one of the last pristine beaches in Saint Lucia, that is Sandy Beach near View Fort. This magnificent beach is shady with low hanging grape-trees and spectacular, and there are a few small restaurants and bars dotted all along the beach. This beach is great for wind and Kite surfing.
In addition, Zamacà Bed & Breakfast offers access to charming local amenities: Fond Bay beach, a wonderful quiet intimate strand of sand, constitutes a neophyte mini-adventure: 15 minutes on a trial beginning from your room!
The unique Latille Falls, the charming and historical Mamiku gardens, within a couple of miles; the majestic Sault River falls, adjacent to the Zipline through the canopy is fifteen minutes drive from here, near Dennery Village.
Don’t forget to visit fishing Village of Dennery on Saturday nights for the weekly fish fry, about 15 minute drive from us.
Of course, we are the ideal springboard to the Capitals’ amusements, about one hour away by car, without the need for the urban noise.
We will also help you to access providers to scuba, snorkeling, and sailing, usually located on the West Coast.
Guestooms
The double-occupancy contemporarily furnished guest rooms are brightly lit, offer an en suite full bathroom each, and overlook the valley or the beach. You will experience the constant cool breeze from the east, and enjoy a splendid view of the valley or and the Fond Bay beach.
Our Guests can share with the owners and other guests any time during the day, if they wish, the large terrazza strategically positioned towards where the scenery is.
